Description

This story is about the close friendship between two horses ...Joe and Helen. Joe, a race horse, met Helen who was in the 'Little Black Oak Ranch' next to the 'Big Wheel Ranch' where he stayed. They became close friends and talked to each other every day. Shortly after they met, Joe was in a race. He did not do too well, and his owner, Mrs. Stevens, decided to sell him. Mr. Hamilton and his daughter, Bonnie, came from their home in Tennessee and purchased Joe. As they were taking him back to Tennessee, Joe said to himself that he was really going to miss being with Helen, and he would probably never see her again. This is a very exciting and 'touching' story.
