Description

After ten years as a Director at Aerosystems in Seattle, Teri Harlan accepts an intriguing offer: Deputy VP of Quality at her former company. Looking forward to Southern California and working for her long-time friend, Rich Richmond, she receives shocking news just before her arrival: Rich is hospitalized following a serious car accident.

Left to start on her own, Teri finds the company she once loved is now a mis-managed snake-pit, infested with self-indulged senior executives reveling in massive bonuses. Within her first week, the company president tries to seduce her, and she discovers his executive administrator sleeps with him as part of her job description.

Teri uses her problem-solving skills for detective work to navigate a labyrinth of bizarre business practices and corporate deceit. Standing up to manipulation and intimidation escalates to a final showdown with a malicious Executive VP, resulting in mortal peril and a shattering confrontation with her past.

About the Author

R.L. Hann retired after thirty-five years of working in management positions for three major aerospace corporations in Southern California, as well as the consumer electronics industry.

Over the course of a career divided equally between HRIT systems management, management development, and management training, he came to think of himself as an "expert in bad management". He's currently spending his time creating material to help employees (and managers) survive the Corporate Jungle.

Rick lives in Fairhaven, Washington, where he enjoys reading, research, and writing, while communing with the trees.
